during a Sun vs Aces WNBA basketball game at Mandalay Bay Events CenterAces’ Rookie A’ja Wilson had a huge double-double scoring 34 points with 14 rebounds in the Aces’ exciting 94-90 victory over the Connecticut Sun at Mandalay Bay Events Center. Both teams battled hard for a victory with the game being tied eight times with six different lead changes. The Sun led at one point by 12 points, and the Aces led by 10 points at another.

For the Aces, Kayla McBride scored 27 points and Tamera Young, Kelsey Plum, and Moriah Jefferson each scored nine points in the victory.

The Sun again had a balanced attack with five players scoring in double figures. Morgan Tuck had a productive night coming off the bench scoring 20 points for the Connecticut Sun including 4/7 three-point shots. Jonquel Jones scored 16 points, and Chiney Ogwumike had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Alex Bentley and Betnijah Laney each had 10 points for the night.

The Connecticut Sun return home to Mohegan Sun Arena to take on the New York Liberty at an 11:30AM game on July 11th, while the Aces travel to Chicago to take on the Sky on July 10.
